Disappointed - I wanted these to work b/c they're so cute, but I'm returning them. The leather seems thin and cheap, and my foot can easily slide out the back - the ankle strap isn't sufficient to keep the foot in place. Functions more like a flip flop, but without the security since the foot straps aren't snug enough on their own.
Disappointed - I own many pairs of Riekers but for some reason these don't fit well. I bought a size 39, my usual. They were too tight. I returned them and got a size 40. The fit was too large. I gave up and kept them, hoping that with orthodics I could get a better fit.
Disappointed - I have purchased this brand before and thought I would have same feeling about this boot but boy was I wrong. The toe box is too wide and gives me a feel of an old style not up to date style. It was narrower than expected so for these reasons I am returning. Maybe next time as this one missed the style.
Dingo Boots - I was thrilled with my boots! Our office staff had a "western" party and I received compliments all evening! They are very cute and can be dressed up or down. I did not give them a 5 star for comfort because they are very slick on a hardwood floor.
Diehard Frye Lover! I was nervous about the sole after reading the reviews but I love this shoe so much I got it anyways. It fit true to size as with my other Frye shoes/boots. I've worn it once and have a small blister on my middle toe but they are very comfortable and sturdy otherwise. I'm watching the sole for wear and if they do wear thin I may put a thicker black sole on as suggested. As the proud owner of six pairs of Frye boots and shoes I have no doubt that these will last a lifetime.
